PLEASE NOTE -
This razor is shave-ready and is, therefore, literally RAZOR-SHARP. This means that
the edge will cut at a touch. IT IS NOT A TOY. It is intended for use as a facial
or body hair remover ONLY. This razor has been honed and stropped to this stage and
I must again stress that, if you are not familiar with the techniques of handling
this type of razor, it must be treated with the respect shown to any very sharp knife
or instrument. If, of course, you are familiar with straight razor shaving then I
trust you will appreciate this fine example of the razor-maker’s art!
Presented in a hard-formed velvet-faced carry box with a durable plastic lid intended
for re-use, this kit has all a newcomer to the Art of straight razor shaving needs
- and the razor itself is supplied (as all our razors are) ready to use from the
case!
Out of the box the kit is easier seen - consisting of razor, strop with paste, shave
brush, stainless steel shave bowl and lid with shaving soap included also. There’s
even an alum block for skincare after shaving!
This Jaguar razor is ground and finished by Thiers-Issard and makes a great starter
razor!
