Using the same blade as in the above razor, this 6/8 Historic model again has the Spartacus Black Mark blade - the difference is in the scales, which here are of Red Stamina, a specially-made laminated rosewood that has been treated specially to resist water damage, a thing natural rosewood is prone to. The effect is superb - far better than the photos. A really good-looking razor!

Now in the straight-tang historic blade, the unusual ‘dreadnought’ point certainly makes this razor stand out in any crowd, as does the ‘festonne’ worked spine and new ‘Black Mark’ ‘Spartacus’ motif.
