Rare and not to be repeated, these 7/8 round point Le Grelot razors are a ‘factory
find’ and we are indeed fortunate to obtain them. The blade is heavy grind and features
the ‘Spartacus’ logo in the new Black Mark. fitted with the new 7/8 large scales
from Thiers-Issard in natural Box Elder burl. These are collector’s pieces and possibly
one of the rarest and most desirable razors of recent times.
PLEASE NOTE -
This razor is shave-ready and is, therefore, literally RAZOR-SHARP. This means that
the edge will cut at a touch. IT IS NOT A TOY. It is intended for use as a facial
or body hair remover ONLY. This razor has been honed and stropped to this stage and
I must again stress that, if you are not familiar with the techniques of handling
this type of razor, it must be treated with the respect shown to any very sharp knife
or instrument. If, of course, you are familiar with straight razor shaving then I
trust you will appreciate this fine example of the razor-maker’s art!
