This razor is shave-ready and is, therefore, literally RAZOR-SHARP. This means that
the edge will cut at a touch. IT IS NOT A TOY. It is intended for use as a facial
or body hair remover ONLY. This razor has been honed and stropped to this stage and
I must again stress that, if you are not familiar with the techniques of handling
this type of razor, it must be treated with the respect shown to any very sharp knife
or instrument. If, of course, you are familiar with straight razor shaving then I
trust you will appreciate this fine example of the razor-maker’s art!
The ‘Le Dandy’ - a slightly deeper blade than the ‘Special Coiffeur’ together with
a fully hollow ground profile make this a very popular first razor for those wanting
a Thiers-Issard razor without breaking the bank!
A nicely-etched 6/8 blade with satin finish.
They may ‘only’ be black plastic, but the finish on the scales is first-class!
